The best news has to be That one with Beth Troutman, she always is upbeat, happy and truly a wonderful newscaster. I always watch her since she brings the news across in a genuine way and she is lively with it. Not sure if you will see this, but, Way to go Beth, keep up the good work and your viewers appreciate your work.
Fox News rising, is great. I always watch the Fox Charlotte News in the morning, especially there segments they do when they go to different places to show folks whats going on in charlotte. Beth Troutman did a great job with Troys restaurant this morning. Plus Wilson is something else.
I usually watch WCNC with Collen odegard, she seems to be very energetic and enjoys her job. Some news casters just don’t have the energy it seems. Theres one weather man, Reg something on Fox and he just puts me to sleep. No enthusiasm there. Just Blah, Blah, Blah. Wish we had more choices for news channels around here like we did in California.
Charlotte seems to be loosing the “Southern Charm” it once had. People seem to be in a rush, mean, nasty and just plain old rude now-a-days to one another. What is going on with Charlotte NC. People move here to escape all of this? How is this atmosphere getting into Charlotte? Why is Charlotte becoming this way? Will it get worse?? What about traffic and the pollution. The more people move here, the more of this we get. Then people will have to move to get away from it, which they did when they moved here. ironically everyone moves for a better place and then it gets ruined! God Help Us All!

I don’t watch the news, its either you get boring news casters or news caster trying to be funny. Neither works!!

Channel 11 news, fox charlotte is good. its livelier than the rest of the news channels.

Channel 6 WCNC is very good. They do a nice job with the news.

i agree, Beth Troutman is one of the better news casters in town. What ever happened to that weather guy, Marc Mathis, he was funny.

Chanel 4 news is good, I forget the weather guy on theres name, but he does an accurate forecast all the time. WCNC I think is the symbol.
