I am a realtor and have been in the business for over 30 years. The best thing to do to help sell a home is to have a pleasant smell in the home. For example a baking cinnamon item, a nice fragrant scent or etc, It helps tons. The homes I have sold followed this and it worked great. Good luck and hope this helps.
Highland Creek is near a Manure farm and it smells when the wind blows toward highland creek. Nice neighborhood, but the smell is awful. especially where they are now building.
If your selling your home make sure the house looks inviting from the outside. Mow the grass, trim the bushes, clean the driveway, get the mold of the exterior of the house, make the deck look inviting. Wash away the dirt and spiderwebs around the home. edge the yard too. Make it look like you want it sold yesterday.

Get A Market Analysis for Home Pricing before you list a price. This will make your home competitive in the market. Its very important to do.

Use Coldwell Banker in Charlotte, they are very good. We sold our home in no time.
