Well, I don't think there are any jobs currently in the Charlotte region or elsewhere that are decent. From what I have seen in the job market, there is a large quantity of workers and not enough jobs. If you are able to get a job, it is low paying, long hours and plain old 1920's work atmosphere. Unsure if many of you remember the recession of then, but jobs were not in the best of conditions and people just treated others inhumanely. Its unfortunate that in todays world we have these conditions still existing. Plus people stepping on people to try to get a job or move ahead of others in these large corporations. If you have a job and you are reading this, I hope you atleast have decent coworkers and managers, you are one of the lucky ones, just make sure you don't lose it to outsourcing or downsizing. Because its not a paradise out there. I am in Dallas and have been all over and its tough all over. The only place I hear is good is Nevada, it appears to be booming still out there and I will be there soon.

working in the motorsports arena in Charlotte NC is the best job you could ever have. Its a blast and you get to meet lots of people. The funniest job you could ever have and the pay is great too. The work is hard, but very enjoyable and the managers and bosses are the best you could have in the world.

I agree with the others that say banks are not very good to work for. The pay is okay, but long hours, low moral, constant layoffs, cutbacks, management who never seems to be happy and etc come with that territory. Its unfortunate that it has to be like this in todays times, but that is how it is in most cases. I am sure there are some cases where folks have a good position, but the majority is like this. Thats my thought on the subject.
