The best job I have had in Charlotte was working as a Pharmaceutical Representative. I would work out of my house and go drop off some of the latest medicines and talk with lots of people. I especially enjoyed my two hour lunches at some of the finest restaurants in town. Days went by fast and there was lots of perks, freebies, events, galas and fancy meetings at the beach. Plus the benefits and pay was great. Great job if you like this sort of stuff.
What about dirtiest jobs. Try working for an airline and loading and unloading luggage, mail, frozen fish, car parts, HR’s (Human Remains) in a 757 while the temperature in summer is about 110 degrees or more. Nothing like the smell of sweat, dirty laundry, HR’s, rotten food, and then some. People pack it all in their suitcases too. From food, fish, weights, drills, tools, clothes of course and much much more. Despite the smells, low pay, long hours, heavy stuff, it is a job like no other. It is interesting and fun if you are an active person and like to be outdoors working with airplanes.
The best job one can have in the Charlotte Region is to work for one of the Banks here. The jobs are rated “The Best For Working Mothers”, they have flex time, daycares onsite, yearly bonuses, 401K, Pensions, three weeks vacation plus -the longer you are their, stock options, you can work at home, and much much more. So if your looking for a job, go apply at one of the Local Banks, as you will not find a better position around here.
I think the best job is working for an Insurance agent. I enjoy it so much since I can see so many different people and it makes the day go by real quick. Plus, I am outdoors driving, I get to see all the nice leaves and seasons.
banks always layoff, every few years, not a very stable job. Plus lots of attitude in banks. Not the best environment since you can’t trust anyone. they will be nice to you and then talk about you to make themselves look high almighty.
Banks are not the best job you can have. Who keeps saying that they are the best is wrong!!!!!!!!!!! They breed a unfriendly environment. If you work for one, then you know what I mean.
Become a culinary chef at johnson and Wales and you will love your job. This is the BEST job in the world and the best place to become a chef. Check it out and I am sure you will think so too. Johnson and Wales Rocks!!
I agree with the others that say banks are not very good to work for. The pay is okay, but long hours, low moral, constant layoffs, cutbacks, management who never seems to be happy and etc come with that territory. Its unfortunate that it has to be like this in todays times, but that is how it is in most cases. I am sure there are some cases where folks have a good position, but the majority is like this. Thats my thought on the subject.
working in the motorsports arena in Charlotte NC is the best job you could ever have. Its a blast and you get to meet lots of people. The funniest job you could ever have and the pay is great too. The work is hard, but very enjoyable and the managers and bosses are the best you could have in the world.
Well, I don’t think there are any jobs currently in the Charlotte region or elsewhere that are decent. From what I have seen in the job market, there is a large quantity of workers and not enough jobs. If you are able to get a job, it is low paying, long hours and plain old 1920’s work atmosphere. Unsure if many of you remember the recession of then, but jobs were not in the best of conditions and people just treated others inhumanely. Its unfortunate that in todays world we have these conditions still existing. Plus people stepping on people to try to get a job or move ahead of others in these large corporations. If you have a job and you are reading this, I hope you atleast have decent coworkers and managers, you are one of the lucky ones, just make sure you don’t lose it to outsourcing or downsizing. Because its not a paradise out there. I am in Dallas and have been all over and its tough all over. The only place I hear is good is Nevada, it appears to be booming still out there and I will be there soon.
